rosa (she/her) is a seattle-based small batch potter originally from san antonio, tx. she hand builds and wheel throws, joining the two techniques in her ceramic work.

rosa employs a play driven process. each piece of hers is crafted to celebrate the fun of creation and the excitement of an unlikely success. her work experiments with utility and the contrasts between soft fluid materials and bold immovable forms. she is most often inspired by organic shapes and motifs that she sees in the physical world around her.
